Telecopier (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides photocopier and multifunction printer (MFP) rental/lease services in Selangor, Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya, Nilai and Negeri Sembilan.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard personal data in accordance with Malaysia’s Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA) and applicable communications and social media standards.

2) What Personal Data We Collect

Identity & Contact — name, company, designation, email, phone/WhatsApp, business address.
Service & Account — quotations, invoices, service tickets, device IDs, meter readings, usage logs.
Technical — IP address, browser type, pages visited, cookies/analytics identifiers.
Communications — enquiry forms, WhatsApp messages, call recordings (where applicable), support chat.
Marketing Preferences — newsletter opt-ins, campaign interactions, social media handles (if provided).


3) How We Use Your Data (Purposes)

Process enquiries, provide quotations, deliver, install, and maintain devices.
Administer contracts, billing, collections, warranty and after-sales support.

We comply with PDPA’s key principles: General, Notice & Choice, Disclosure, Security, Retention, Data Integrity and Access.

Disclosure: we do not sell personal data. We disclose only to service providers/partners for stated purposes or where required by law.

We retain personal data only as long as needed for the stated purposes, to meet legal/accounting requirements, or to establish/exercise/defend legal claims. Upon expiry, data will be deleted or anonymised using commercially reasonable methods.

You may, subject to PDPA exceptions, request to:

raise a complaint about our data handling.

We may require information to verify your identity and may charge a prescribed fee for access requests as permitted by law.

Our services target businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal data of children under 18 without appropriate consent/authorisation.
